Recycled A6 notebook - butterfly/bumblebee/dragonfly

These lovely illustrated notebooks have been designed by independent artist Ali Chappell-Bates. Use the 'choose your notebook' dropdown above to select which of the following three designs you'd like:

Butterflies (swallowtail, peacock, tortoiseshell, common blue)

Bumblebee

Dragonfly (Hawker)

The cover of the notebook is recycled brown card with a neat squared spine. The 48 inner pages are printed with lines. Made using eco-friendly FSC approved paper.

Each notebook is 14.8cm tall and 10.5cm wide (A6 size). A perfect size to carry around with you, but not too small that you can't fill in all your ideas!

Cornflower seeds

Wild blue cornflowers (Centaurea cyanus) are one of the most cheerful, vigorous wildflowers around - and bumblebees love them.

Sow March-May for summer flowers, or August-September for flowers the next spring. Find out more about our cornflower seeds.

You'll receive a packet of c. 200 seeds, printed with full sowing instructions.

Birch wood seed marker - gold bumblebee design

These beautiful wee markers have been designed by independent artist and printmaker Kim Jenkins (aka Lucky Bird). Aren't they adorable?

Each marker is 15cm long, 1.7cm wide and can be easily written on with a pencil (included) or marker pen. Perfect for popping in the ground to show where you've sown your cornflower seeds!

You'll receive one marker, printed with a gold foil-blocked bumblebee design.

A5 'Wildflowers in Scotland' postcard

This beautiful postcard was created exclusively for us by illustrator and designer Victoria Rose Ball. It depicts 16 species of wildflower that you might find in Scotland today - from iconic species like poppy and cornflower, to lesser-known gems like thrift and wild pansy.

Many of these flowers are loved by bees, butterflies and other insects. And each species is named, so you can use the postcard as an identification guide or educational tool. Alternatively, you can post it to a friend, or pin it up as a wee work of art.

A5 'Wildflowers in Scotland' colouring card

A black and white, 'colour-in' version of the same postcard. Can be easily coloured in using pencils or fine markers. A lovely, therapeutic activity for children or adults.

  • FURTHER PRODUCT DETAILS

    Our postcards

    All the postcards in our individual gift sets are extra-large, A5 size - that's 21cm x 14.8cm.

They're printed on uncoated, bright white 380gsm card. That means they're nice and sturdy, and perfect for writing on with any sort of pen.

    Our seeds

We source all our seeds from a small network of trusted Scottish / UK suppliers.

We use seed-proof, hand-filled glassine paper seed packets for all our wildflower seeds. Glassine paper is 100% plastic-free, fully recyclable and biodegradable. This approach means we can also avoid the foil-sealed sachets many seed companies use, which are sadly not able to be recycled.

The clear cello bags we use to protect your items are also plant-based and 100% biodegradable.
